Shots fired! Kanye West’s pal Rick Ross is accusing the rapper of faking his alleged mental breakdown and calling out people who believed in his plight. Keep reading for his shocking diss of Yeezy’s heartbreaking crisis.
Does Rick Ross know something about Kanye West‘s alleged breakdown that we don’t? According to the Maybach Music Group chief, the 39-year-old rapper staged his whole crisis as a publicity stunt! The two have worked together in the past, so it’s a total shock that the 40-year-old entrepreneur and MC would call out his pal as a faker. In an appearance in New York City Dec. 11, he told a stunned crowd that, “One time for Yeezy. My homie’s a genius. For anybody who thought he was wiggin’ out, he played y’all.” WHAT?!
What’s even more strange than having Rick call out Yeezy so publicly for staging his alleged meltdown, Kanye’s frequent collaborator and producer Mike Dean was right there onstage next to Rick when he made the controversial claim. He even seemed to laugh a little bit. Do these guys have some inside dirt on Kanye or is Rick just being a hater?
Kanye was actually there in New York when Rick made his controversial comments. It’s the first time he’s left the L.A. area since he allegedly had a mental breakdown at his trainer’s house Nov. 21 after making several bizarre concert rants and eventually cancelling the remainder of his St. Pablo tour. He ended up hospitalized for eight days for sleep deprivation and exhaustion, even though many sources reported he was suffering from extreme paranoia.
Newly blond Yeezy seems well enough now to be out and about taking appointments, and he even made his first appearance in public Dec. 8 when he visited a pal’s art installation in West Hollywood. So far he hasn’t responded to Rick’s shocking diss, but we can’t wait to hear what he thinks about the outrageous claims.
